"Sure," Arcelia shrugged wondering how she would find the real deed. The girl stood behind the souvenir counter surrounded by Wild West memorabilia and even bath toys of the palindromic-named mythical water horse and comically big furry hominid-footed slippers. The inanimate manikin sat in the corner with her pleasant, but unsettling stare. Arcelia heard a squeaking noise outside the window. Shutters slowly swung and creaked open by themselves to show a view of the cliff. She realized the deed must be hidden in the worthless mineshaft. The child hung a closed sign on the screen door.
